The "Sundays at 2" coordinated by the department of music at Hope College will continue on Sunday, April 11, at 2 p.m. in Wichers Auditorium of Nykerk Hall of Music.
The public is invited. Admission is free.
The program will open with Robert Schumann's "Marchenerzahlungen, Op. 138," performed by Joel Schekman, clarinet; Barbara Corbato, viola; and Adam Clark, piano. Next will be Samuel Barber's "Canzone for Flute and Piano, Op. 38a," performed by flutist Julie Sooy and pianist Adam Clark. The concert will close with Robert Schumann's "Piano Quintet in Eb Major, Op. 44," performed by Amanda Dykhouse, violin I; Tammy Clark, violin II; Barbara Corbato, viola; Richard Piippo, cello; and Andrew Le, piano.
The 2010 season recognizes the births of Robert Schumann (1810), Frédéric Chopin (1810), and Samuel Barber (1910).
Nykerk Hall of Music is located in the central Hope campus at the former 127 E. 12th St. between College and Columbia avenues.
