During the final Gathering, a rope is woven through Dimnent Chapel. At the end of the service, seniors are invited to come and cut a piece of the rope to take with them.
The rope is meant to be symbolic of their Hope College experience. Just as the rope is made up of many threads into one complete whole, so has their time at Hope College been made up of many experiences into one.
