Both the Hope College women’s and swimming and diving teams have earned Scholar All-America Team recognition for the spring semester from the College Swim Coaches Association of America (CSCAA).
The Flying Dutchmen and Flying Dutch also claimed the distinction during the fall
semester in 2019.
“We are certainly very proud of this group,” head coach Jake Taber said. “It is a
group that gets it. Excelling in the classroom is certainly an expectation here at
Hope, it's why we're here in the first place! We have a great group that is motivated
and driven to excel in everything that they're involved in... and for us, that is
an intentional carryover from the classroom to the pool and the boards.”
The CSCAA selected teams on the basis of their spring grade point averages.
