Hope College forward Preston Granger has claimed all-region honors from D3hoops.com.

The 6-6 junior from Lansing, Michigan (Lansing Christian HS) is a third-team selection in the Great Lakes Region.

Players were nominated for D3hoops awards by the sports information directors at the various schools, who were contacted multiple times as the season wound down to remind them to make their players eligible.

There were 769 players nominated nationwide. The ballot was then made available to SIDs, who voted for a predetermined number of players in their region.

It's the 19th season D3hoops.com has named All-Region teams.

This is Granger’s first D3hoops award. This season, Granger averaged a career-high and team-high 20.3 points and 7.9 rebounds per game. He finished second among MIAA players at 60.8 percent field-goal shooting.

In February, Granger claimed All-MIAA First Team honors this season.
