    One Way to Make College Meaningful

    There is a growing movement among private colleges and universities to focus on vocation as it evolves from the Christian tradition, in the sense of a “calling.” Consider what happened when the Hope College chapter of Engineers Without Borders embarked on a project to bring water filtration systems to the community of Nkuv in Cameroon.

    One Good Thing: Hope College students working on world water problems

    Hope students have partnered with a few different organizations to provide clean water to people in Fiji, which has been hit by three hurricanes in three years. In addition to Fiji, the students are studying water filter effectiveness in 24 other countries around the globe.
