The annual Celebration of Undergraduate Research and Creative Performance showcased original research by students on topics ranging from the preservation of relics to multiple studies of the Macatawa Watershed, to the impact of immigration on wages in the U.S., to disability in black women’s speculative fiction.
Hope College’s major musical groups, along with soloists, chamber groups and small ensembles, presented the 31st annual Musical Showcase on Wednesday, March 13.
In its opening moments the 20th annual Dance Marathon had already achieved one milestone, with a record-number 1,100 students participating. A day later, the student-organized event ended with another, raising its highest total yet, $340,172.20, on behalf of the children served by Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital of Grand Rapids.
