Financial Aid Timeline

This timeline is for students applying for aid for the 2025–26 academic year.

DECEMBER	The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is available. Be sure to complete your application in a timely manner to avoid processing delays.
MID-FEBRUARY	Prospective students begin receiving financial aid award notifications. Award notices are sent via mail and uploaded to your admissions portal.
LATE MAY	Returning students begin receiving financial aid award notifications. Award notices are sent via mail and viewable in plus.hope.edu.
JUNE	First-time federal loan borrowers must sign a Master Promissory Note and complete Entrance Counseling in order to fully accept their loan offers. This requirement should be completed prior to the start of the academic year.
JULY 1	Priority date to file the FAFSA. Filing by this date assures you will be considered for the maximum financial aid eligibility and assures Michigan residents consideration for state funds.
EARLY JULY	e-Bill statements are available for fall semester. Business Services can assist you with your billing and payment questions.
EARLY DECEMBER	e-Bill statements available for spring semester. Business Services can assist you with your billing and payment questions.
