    Tim Schoonveld Named Full-Time Director of Athletics

    Tim Schoonveld, who has served as co-athletic director at Hope College since joining the faculty in 2009, has been named the college’s first full-time director of athletics, with responsibility for all of Hope’s 22 men’s and women’s intercollegiate teams.

    Address to Explore Research on Black Female Vampires in Literature

    Dr. Kendra R. Parker of the Hope College English faculty will present “She Bites Back: Black Women as Predators in Life and Lit” on Thursday, Feb. 28, at 3:30 p.m. at Hope in the Fried-Hemenway Auditorium of the Martha Miller Center for Global Communication through the Department of English Colloquium Series.

    Hope College Theatre to Present “Cry It Out” on Feb. 20-24

    The Department of Theatre at Hope College will present “Cry It Out” on Wednesday-Saturday, Feb. 20-23, at 7:30 p.m., with an additional matinee on Saturday, Feb. 23, at 2 p.m. There will also be a matinee performance on Sunday, Feb. 24, at 2 p.m. that is free of charge. All performances will be in the DeWitt Center main theatre.
