Athletics
As a member of the MIAA and NCAA Division III associations, Hope College sponsors 22 varsity sports for men and women. The college is home to the 2022 NCAA Division III National Championship women’s basketball team.

Baccalaureate

Two identical, optional worship services are held in Dimnent Chapel on the morning of Commencement.

Services are at 9:30 and 11:30 a.m. and typically last about an hour. The 9:30 service will be live streamed at hope.edu/live.

Graduation candidates wear caps and gowns and sit together as a class. Do not decorate or alter your caps or gowns. Line up at the DeWitt flagpole by 9 a.m. for the first service and 11 a.m. for the second service.
