The Native American Film Series at Hope College will present "Indians of California" on Tuesday, Nov. 7, at 7 p.m. in the Maas Center conference room.

The public is invited. Admission is free.

The film, which runs less than 30 minutes, will
examine the traditional culture of the Yokuts, the largest
tribe to inhabit the land that became California.
Background material accompanying the film notes, "Known for
their practical and resourceful ways, they had a great
respect for their bountiful food supply and the land that it
came from."

Discussion will follow the film. Refreshments
will be provided.

The film series is being sponsored by the Office
of Multicultural Life. The Maas Center is located on
Columbia Avenue at 11th Street.
