There will be a reception at Hope
College on Friday, Jan. 19, for an exhibition of paintings
by Daniel Heisler on display in the college's department of
economics and business administration.

The public is invited. Admission is free.

The reception will be on Friday, Jan. 19, from 7
p.m. to 8 p.m. in the department's Muiderman Art Hall. The
exhibition will continue through Monday, Feb. 19.

The department is located in the DeWitt Center for
Economics and Business Administration, which is on the main
floor between Van Zoeren Hall and the Van Wylen Library.
The department's main entrance faces Graves Place (11th
Street) between Central and College avenues.

Heisler is a 1998 Hope graduate now living in
Grand Rapids. The pieces in the collection reflect his
recent experimentation in portraiture and landscape.

The exhibition space has been named in honor of
Anthony Muiderman, who is a professor emeritus of business
administration. He retired at the end of the 1999-2000
school year after serving on the Hope faculty since 1977.
