Some 34 high school cheerleading squads participated in the 33rd annual Hope College Cheerleading Clinic and Competition, held on Saturday, Jan. 31, at Holland High School.
Nearly 400 cheerleaders attended. They received instruction from members of the Hope College cheerleading squad and then participated in a competition.
The competition named winners in the freshman, junior varsity and varsity level in both Class A-B and Class C-D, as well as spirit awards at the freshman, junior varsity and varsity level and co-ed awards.
