Several Hope College residence halls are hosting activities open to the community in conjunction with Halloween.
A total of 10 residence halls will be open to young trick-or-treaters on Monday, Oct. 31, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Children from the community are invited to visit and admission is free, although they must be accompanied by an adult.
The participating halls are Cook, Cosmo/Wyckoff, Dykstra, Gilmore, Kollen, Lichty, Phelps, Scott, Van Vleck and Voorhees.
Maps will be available at each hall showing the 10 buildings that are participating. Selected cottage housing units, those with their porch lights on, will also be hosting trick-or-treaters.
Cook Hall is located on 10th Street between College and Columbia avenues.
Cosmo/Wyckoff Hall is located on 13th Street between College and Columbia avenues.
Dykstra Hall is located on Ninth Street at Columbia Avenue.
Gilmore Hall is located on 10th Street at Columbia Avenue.
Kollen Hall is located between 12th and 13th streets at Columbia Avenue.
Lichty Hall is located on 13th Street between College and Columbia avenues.
Phelps Hall is located on 10th Street at Columbia Avenue.
Scott Hall is located on 13th Street between College and Columbia avenues.
Van Vleck Hall is located in the central campus, south of 10th Street between College and Columbia avenues.
Voorhees Hall is located on 10th Street at College Avenue.
