Walsh is a professor of political science at The Catholic University of America. A specialist in political theory, he is the author of a three-volume study of modernity addressing the totalitarian crisis, the resurgence of liberal democracy, and the philosophical revolution of the modern world. Intended as a guide to the multiple facets of the current age, Walsh's work examines the way in which spiritual crises generate deeper reflections on religious life and shape political order. He is a leading expert on the works of Eric Voegelin and Alexander Solzhenitsyn.
The Maas Center is located at 264 Columbia Ave., on Columbia Avenue at 11th Street.
