Middle school girls interested in learning more about careers in engineering will have an opportunity to attend hands-on sessions, presentations and tours at Hope College on Saturday, Feb. 15, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

“Making a Difference: A Day to Explore Engineering Careers,” will take place in the college’s new Haworth Engineering Center, dedicated this past fall, and at VanderWerf and Van Zoeren Halls.  The event is being sponsored by the college’s student chapter of the Society of Women Engineers, and current female Hope engineering students will be among the presenters.

Those interested in attending are asked to register online at hope.edu/csi.  Admission is $10, payable at the door on the day of the event.

The Haworth Engineering Center, VanderWerf Hall and Van Zoeren Hall are connected facilities and are located on 10th Street between Central and College avenues.
