Hope College’s Justin Freeman is the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association Men’s Track Athlete of the Week.
The junior from Holland, Michigan (West Ottawa HS) is recognized after racing to a
school record in the 100 meters at the Grand Valley State University Al Owens Invitational
on Saturday.
Freeman recorded a winning time of 10.69 seconds that is tied for the sixth-fastest
in NCAA Division III this season.
Freeman also anchored the Flying Dutchmen’s 4x100 relay that went 41.49 seconds for
the NCAA’s second-fastest time this season.
This is Freeman’s second MIAA weekly honor of the season and his career.
