Athletics
As a member of the MIAA and NCAA Division III associations, Hope College sponsors 22 varsity sports for men and women. The college is home to the 2022 NCAA Division III National Championship women’s basketball team.

Matthew A. Scogin was inaugurated the 14th president on Friday, Sept. 13. The ceremony was among multiple events scheduled including a concert by New York-based Young Oceans, a showcase of the college’s four arts departments and the 54th annual Hope/Holland Community Day.
