Off-Campus Study
We are so excited that you are considering studying off-campus! Studying in another part of the world or country can be a valuable part of your academic journey, and an instrumental experience in further studying the natural and technical world.
As a mathematics major, consider the following things as you plan your off-campus study experience:
- Math students typically go abroad during spring of their junior or senior year, although other times are possible.
- Taking math courses off-campus is possible with several programs offered through Hope. Planning a semester off campus early on in your academic career is optimal!
- It is important to meet with your academic advisor regarding courses you plan on taking off-campus and how this fits within your academic plan, particularly credits counting toward your major (and provide appropriate course descriptions).
