Veterinary Medicine

Each veterinary medicine school has different admissions requirements. Some require the GRE entrance exam, some require the GRE and the Biology GRE and some accept the MCAT in place of the GRE.

The courses listed below are currently offered at Hope and are required for most vet med schools. Note that some vet med schools do not accept AP credit for prerequisite requirements. Be sure to check with the individual school or Dr. Greg Fraley for more information.

If you are planning to take the MCAT in place of the GRE, review the 3-year and 4-year course sequencing suggestions. Courses listed there are what you will need to be sufficiently prepared to take the MCAT.
