- Theresa Bravata
-
Theresa is a passionate and energetic person that is always on the lookout for ways to optimize the body. She has spent decades learning the language of it — how it speaks to us, how it gets our attention when we aren't listening, how it works endlessly day in and day out for our highest good. While her interest started in part because of her own healing journey, it led to working with and helping others restore movement and vitality into their own lives. Trained by Human Garage, Theresa is a Fascial Maneuver Lifestyle Artist. Combined with breathwork, she shares the maneuvers as a way for others to tap into the healing resources of their own body.

Mandy has owned Pilates in Holland since 2014. She is a recognized as a comprehensive teacher through Balanced Body University and Master Trainer Ahme Bovee and is NCTP nationally certified. Having an athletic background and working as a massage therapist for eight years, Pilates instantly felt like a natural fit when she took her first class in 2001, and then soon became certified in 2003 while living in Santa Barbara, California. Returning to West Michigan she began teaching Pilates at Avalon School of Arts in 2005. Mandy received a gift when Master Trainer Ahme Bovee relocated from Canada to open a studio in East Grand Rapids where Mandy taught from 2011–2015. Her learning continues today in neuro and primal movement under Trent McEntire, Louise Johns and Missy Brunch. Mandy feels it is a privilege to help others grow their body-mind connection by getting curious and sharing how the human mind is wired. She has enjoyed working with clients, including the late Maxine DeBruyn, founder of the Hope College Dance Department. Mandy is thrilled to join our wellness program.
