Get Involved
There are several ways to become involved with Engineers Without Borders USA – Hope College Chapter, from student and mentor involvement to the donations that fund projects.
Student Involvement
Successful community-based projects require the involvement of a group of individuals with a diverse set of skills to ensure projects are implemented at a high level and that the project is carried on by the community after the partnership ends.
Successful projects require quality engineering, personal interaction and project management. This is why our group strives to diversify its membership. Students with interest in any of the following niches are welcome to join:
- Community/humanitarian work
- Business/bookkeeping
- Photography/storytelling
- Engineering
- Interest in water quality (chemistry/biology)
- Interest in public health (nursing/pre-med)
- Leadership
Mentor Involvement
We are always interested in expanding our mentor pool and invite both practicing engineers and non-engineering professionals to get involved with our chapter.
If you are interested in becoming involved, please email our chapter at ewb@hope.edu.
Donate
In addition to addressing a great humanitarian need, EWB USA – Hope College Chapter also provides students with opportunities for experiential learning in a global setting. Your donation will help us to continue providing these life-changing experiences for students. It will also cover project costs and help to change the lives of hundreds of people in our partner community. We greatly appreciate your donations.
