Book Considers Impact of Invoking “Founding Fathers” in Congressional Politics

The new book “Invoking the Fathers: Dangerous Metaphors and Founding Myths in Congressional Politics” by Dr. Sarah Kornfield of the Hope College communication faculty, published this month by Johns Hopkins University Press, examines the impact of the phrase “Founding Fathers” as code for a particular political outlook.
