Intellectual Freedom

The library generally follows the intellectual freedom guidelines as articulated by the American Library Association.

(See Intellectual Freedom Principles for Academic Libraries.)

The library will seek to develop and provide access to a collection of materials — both print and electronic — representing a diversity of views. The library will ensure that the balance of the collection is maintained through preservation and replacement.

We also subscribe to the Library Bill of Rights.
