Anchor Plan
Beginning in the fall 2023 semester, a revised general education curriculum called The Anchor Plan.
The General Education Revision Task Force led three years of study and conversations with faculty, staff, students and alumni. After careful reflection and two years of transition and implementation, the Anchor Plan honors what has worked well in our previous curriculum while also recognizing that students need an education for the world in which they live today. The Anchor Plan presents a general education program that is sustainable for teaching, adaptable over the long-term, clear in its assessment, and inspiring to our community.
