Academic Articulation Agreements

Hope College has entered into agreements with other higher education institutions for the benefit of our students. Below is a listing of current agreements on file with the Provost’s Office. The list is updated as new agreements are developed.

Central Michigan UniversityMount Pleasant, MI

Hope Academic Program: Department of Kinesiology

Agreement Highlights: Admit up to two suitably-qualified and dually-enrolled full-time students who have completed the required courses and a bachelor’s degree from Hope for the Master of Science in Athletic Training program at CMU.

Agreement Highlights: Student exchange program.
Grand Valley State UniversityAllendale, MI

Occupational Science and Therapy Graduate Program of the College of Health Professions, Grand Valley State University
Hope Academic Program: Pre-Professional Program

Agreement Highlights: Non-competitive admission of up to two Hope College graduates annually to the Occupational Therapy program of the College of Health Professions, contingent upon completion of requirements as outlined in the agreement.

Physical Therapy Graduate Program of the College of Health Professions, Grand Valley State University
Hope Academic Program: Pre-Professional Program

Agreement Highlights: Non-competitive admission of up to two Hope College graduates annually to the Doctor of Physical Therapy program of the College of Health Professions, contingent upon completion of requirements as outlined in the agreement.

Physician Assistant Studies, Grand Valley State University
Hope Academic Program: Pre-Professional Program

Agreement Highlights: Non-competitive admission of up to two Hope College graduates annually to the Physical Assistant program of the College of Health Professions, contingent upon completion of requirements as outlined in the agreement.

Kirkhof College of Nursing, Grand Valley State University
Hope Academic Program: Nursing

Agreement Highlights: Four seats allocated to Hope Nursing students for the Kirkhof College of Nursing DNP or MSN-CNL program, based on faculty recommendations.

Hanze UniversityyGroningen, Netherlands
Agreement Highlights: Student Exchange Program of two students from each institution for an academic year. 
Holland Public SchoolsHolland, MI

Hope Academic Program: Education

Agreement Highlights: A maximum of three Holland Public Schools students will be accepted into the Hope College Teacher Preparation Early College Program, providing up to 60 credit hours of a Hope College bachelor’s degree in Education.

LCC International UniversityKlaipėda, Lithuania
Agreement Highlights: A student exchange program of up to two students from each institution each semester. Hope College students must be juniors or seniors chosen competively. 
Liverpool Hope UniversityLiverpool, England
Agreement Highlights: Student exchange program of roughly equaly numbers of students from Liverpool Hope University to Hope College and from Hope College to Liverpool Hope University for a semester or an academic year.
 Meiji Gakuin UniversityTokyo/Yokohama, Japan

Agreement Highlights: Student Exchange Program allowing two full-time students to attend Hope from Meiji Gakuin University and two full-time students to attend Meiji Gakuin University from Hope College.

Michigan State University: College of Human Medicine
Hope Academic Program: Pre-Professional Program

Agreement Highlights: Early assurance program for admission to Michigan State University: College of Human Medicine for qualified Hope pre-medical students.

Michigan State University: College of Nursing
Hope Academic Program: Hope College Nursing

Agreement Highlights: Admission of a minimum of two students per year to the Michigan State University: College of Nursing accelerated BSN Ph.D. program.

Technos International CollegeTokyo, Japan

Agreement Highlights: Students may be admitted from Hope College to Technos International College or from Technos International College to Hope College if qualifications are met.

Union Christian CollegeAluva, India

Agreement Highlights: Coordination to develop conferences, cooperative studies, and exchange opportunities for faculty, administrators and students.

Universitdad Popular Autonoma Del Estado De Puebla, A.C. Puebla, Mexico

Agreement Highlights: Exchange of faculty, undergraduates, and collaboration on joint research activities and publications, with emphasis on the exchange of up to two undergraduates at a one-for-one basis.

Universidad Autonoma de Queretaro  Santiago de Queretaro, Mexico

Agreement Highlights: Faculty exchanges for short and medium term or sabbatical periods in areas of applied eithics and bioethics.

Western Michigan UniversityKalamazoo, MI

Hope Academic Program: Communication

Agreement Highlights: A 4+1 program. Hope College communication majors are offered an accelerated path to a master's degree in communication at Western Michigan University.

Western Theological SeminaryHolland, MI

Hope Academic Program: Religion

Agreement Highlights: A 3+2 program. Hope College religion majors in their senior year could take courses at Western Theological Seminary that would transfer back to Hope, allowing the student to start their first year of seminary while also a senior at Hope College. Students would go on to Western Theological Seminary after their fourth year to complete an M.Div.
