- Anchored Tuition Pledge
-
The Anchored Tuition Pledge, is our assurance to hold full-time tuition in place, at one rate with each incoming class. By “anchoring tuition,” our students pay the same tuition rate for the duration of their education at Hope. The tuition rate they start with is the tuition rate they end with.
By creating tuition rate stability, Hope College addresses affordability and accessibility so our families can plan their personal budgets with confidence from their student’s first semester to the last.
In 2023–24, here is how the Anchored Tuition Pledge will work for:Incoming full-time students (first time at Hope) — The tuition rate will be $39,990. This tuition rate will remain the same for a student’s time at Hope.
Returning full-time students (second year students) — The tuition rate will be $37,990, the same as last year. This tuition rate will remain the same for a student’s time at Hope.
Returning full-time students (third+ year students) — The tuition rate will be $36,300, the same as last year. This tuition rate will remain the same for a student’s time at Hope.
(*Eligibility for aid is reassessed on a year-to-year basis. Need-based financial aid awards can fluctuate.)
Room and board and fees cannot be guaranteed from year-to-year and could vary with inflation. In 2023-24, those costs are:
Room** $5,700
Board** $6,060
Fees $430(**Room rates are based on double-occupancy, standard residence hall housing, and board rates are based upon a 15-meal plan. Both rates can vary depending on a student’s housing and meal plan choices.)
